Active@ UNDELETE - Hex Viewer
Hex Viewer is used as a simple low level disk viewer which presents
information in binary and text modes at the same time. You can use this view to
analyze content of data storage elements (such as disk, partitions, files and
others).
To open element in hex viewer right-click any item in Active@ UNDELETE
Explorer and then click HEX Viewer from the context menu.
Navigation in Hex viewer window
You can navigate through content of element (drive, disk etc.) being viewed by
using navigation buttons located in Hex viewer toolbar: Top, Next,
Previous, End. Using these buttons you can view the content of an
object sector by sector (or cluster by cluster for drives and files).
You can also jumps directly to any sector or cluster within limits of reviewed
element by entering sector or cluster number in address field and then pressing
Enter or clicking GO button on view toolbar.
Viewing files
You can navigate through the content of file by selecting the cluster in
File's clusters chain from Files Clusters list.
